Tonika is a new music school in Wilanów founded by musicians who believe lessons should feel like making music – from day one.
From a rehearsal room to a school
Tonika grew out of a small rehearsal space shared by a handful of Warsaw musicians. Friends asked for lessons, then their children did, and the room quickly became too small.
In 2026 we opened our doors in Wilanów with acoustically treated classrooms, a recording studio and a team of teachers who still perform regularly. The name refers to the tonic – the home note of every key – because whatever style you play, we want you to feel at home in music.

Our mission is simple: to help every student – regardless of age or ambition – make music they are proud of, and to keep them playing for life.
Joy first
Motivation comes from playing music you love. Technique follows – and we teach it thoroughly – but the repertoire is always yours.
Personal paths
No two students follow the same plan. Goals, pace and repertoire are set together with the teacher and reviewed every semester.
Real musicianship
Reading, listening, improvising and playing with others are part of every path, so students become musicians, not just instrumentalists.
Stage & studio
Performing and recording are skills too. Every student can take part in two concerts a year and record in our studio.
Respect for craft
We honour classical tradition and contemporary music equally – and we never talk down to anyone, whatever their age.
